Manchester City – Aston Villa : les compositions probables, chaîne tv et heure

Manchester City reçoit Aston Villa, ce mercredi, à l’Ethiad Stadium à l’occasion de la 31ème journée de Premier League. Les compositions probables, la chaîne TV et toutes les informations sont à découvrir ici.

Manchester City va toujours aussi bien. Les hommes de Pep Guardiola sont 3ème de Premier League, qualifiés en quart de finale de Ligue des champions et en demi-finale de FA Cup. Les Citizens pourraient refaire un triplé, comme l’année dernière. Les coéquipiers de Phil Foden sont invaincus depuis le 6 décembre ; ils s’étaient inclinés 1-0… face à Aston Villa. Le coach espagnol va devoir trouver des solutions pour battre l’une des rares équipes qui leur posent problème en championnat. Ce week-end, Manchester City a déjà joué un gros match puisqu’ils ont fait 0-0 face à Arsenal, un autre prétendant à la Ligue des Champions.

Ce match est un choc du haut du tableau, entre deux adversaires qui se battant pour le podium de la Premier League et les places pour la Ligue des Champions.

La surprenante équipe d’Aston Villa fait une saison remarquable. En Europa Ligue Conférance, le club est qualifié en quart de finale et affrontera Lille. Ce qui empêche l’équipe d’Unai Emery d’être plus haut dans le classement, c’est l’irrégularité contre les grandes écuries. Récemment, ils sont inclinés 1-3 face à Newcastle, 1-2 face à Manchester United et 0-4 face à Tottenham. Le week-end dernier, les Villans ont repris de la confiance en battant 2-0 Wolverhampton.

Aké blessé, Watkins forfait

Manchester City ne pourra pas compter sur le défenseur Nathan Aké, il est sorti sur blessure face Arsenal. Kyle Walker souffre d’une gêne au tendon et Ederson est toujours touché au mollet.

Du côté des Villans, les absents sont plus nombreux. Le buteur, Watkins, réalise une très belle saison avec 22 buts et 10 passes décisives en 42 matchs TCC. Malheureusement, il ne fera pas partie du voyage puisqu’il s’est blessé aux ischio-jambiers face à Wolves. Le milieu de terrain d’Aston Villa est décimé par les blessures. Bouba Kamara et Buendía sont blessés au genou, Ramsey à la cheville et McGinn est suspendu pour avoir reçu un carton rouge face à Tottenham. Cash et Mings sont également forfaits.
